The Launch of TCE TV

On November 2, 2025, TransCultural Exchange invited the local and international community to join us in celebrating the Launch of TCE TV.

We thank everyone who came out to join us to raise a glass, meet the TCE TV team,1 and hear from the Goethe-Institut Boston Director’s Jörg Süssenbach, Boston Neighborhood Network News Media’s Glenn Williams, MacDowell’s Courtney Bethel, Monson Arts’ Chantal Harris and the Goethe-Institut Boston, Studio 170’s Annette Klein, all of whom were involved in TCE TV’s first episodes. We were also pleased to introduce everyone to some of our upcoming TCE TV guests, including Jameson Johnson of the Boston Art Review; Kyle Keane of MIT, Bill Marx of the arts fuse; Rebecca Reynolds of the Manship Artists Residency; Michael Sheridan of Community Supported Film; Ellie Schimelman of Cross Cultural Collaborative in Ghana and Judith Tolnick of the Providence Biennale for Contemporary Art, along with Jerry Russo and Catheline van den Branden who helped us with the show’s initial interviews.

With such gatherings, as with all our work, TransCultural Exchange aims to bring people together – not just down the block, but across the nation and around the globe – to support art’s unique ability to expand horizons, promote resources for sharing and avenues of daring – to provide us with hope, respite and joy in the difficult times in which we live.

1These included the show’s host Jeelan Bilal-Gore; camera/editor Janelle Giuliani; the evening’s fantastic volunteers Masha Keryan, Dhriti Nijhawan, Veronica Redlitz and Meadow Vrtis, and our staff, board and advisory board.
