Many excellent organizations exist to provide artists with the latest information on calls for exhibitions, competitions, educational programs, residencies, commissions, funding and jobs for artists. Below are those that TransCultural Exchange recommends as excellent starting points. TransCultural Exchange’s International Exchanges’ Impact Report
This report shows that TransCultural Exchange and similar international art exchange programs definitively stimulate economic growth, make for more vibrant, stable and tolerant societies and advance not only the arts but also cross-cultural and trans-disciplinary engagement.
International Opportunities in the Arts
In 2019, TransCultural Exchange’s book International Opportunities in the Arts was published by Vernon Press. The book is a compilation of papers presented at TransCultural Exchange’s 2018 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts and is available for purchase here.

ACAN was established to bring together Arab institutions, associations, and artists in late 2020. As the network develops, it plans to address cultural, political, economic, and social issues, including programs for children and youth, artistic programs related to theater, in addition to programs for exchanging experiences between institutions.

Artists at Risk Connection (ARC) safeguards the right to artistic freedom of expression and ensures that artists and cultural professionals everywhere can live and work without fear. Our ultimate goal is to address the needs of artists at risk and the organizations that serve them. ARC primarily achieves this by: ASSISTING persecuted artists by connecting them to our growing global network of resources; FACILITATING cooperation among human rights and art organizations; and AMPLIFYING the stories and work of at-risk artists as well as raising visibility of the field of artistic freedom.
