TRANSCULTURAL EXCHANGE TV – TCE TV
SEASON 2
Not all of us may be able to travel. We can, though, see a movie, go to an exhibit, or read a book. Art can inspire and help us to understand the wonders of our planet and those who share it with us. To help make that possible, TransCultural Exchange exists. In the more than three decades of our existence, we have produced hundreds of global art projects, artist exchanges, web resources and a biennale International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts. And, now, we continue with . . .
TCE TV.
Each month we continue to travel around the globe, highlighting opportunities, residencies and resources for artists in Boston and abroad. Tune in to Boston Neighborhood Network Media the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm and, thereafter, always here.
Aside from our website and our producer’s Boston Neighborhood Network Media, TransCultural Exchange is happy to let artists know that TCE-TV is also now available for viewing on the following:
Currently reaching over 749,700 households and counting.
With that level of viewership, we know we are serving a clear need. Please help us ensure that all artists everywhere have access to this valuable resource by making a donation or by becoming a TCE-TV underwriter. Contact Mary Sherman for more information at msherman[@] transculturalexchange.org. Also, if you have an idea for a guest or a show, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you.
SEASON 2, EPISODE 3, Avenues for Daring, Part 3
Tonight, we continue our jam-packed series of episodes introducing you to a number of guests from near and far who offer a wide range of opportunities for artists. As in the last two shows, all the guests featured in this episode will also be presenting at our March 2025 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts, entitled Avenues for Daring. These people run residency programs, curate exhibitions, fund artists’ works, or have some other opportunity to share with artists. They will present on panels, lead roundtable discussions, conduct portfolio reviews, and run workshops you can participate in. Tonight, we’ll speak to some of these people. And, again, everyone is invited to join us at the March conference. There, you can meet TCE TV’s guests face-to-face. And, as always, if you can’t join us at the Conference, the websites of our guests’ programs are included below where you can learn more about them.

SEASON 2, EPISODE 1, Avenues for Daring, Part 1
Welcome to Season 2 of TCE TV. In this and the next four episodes, TCE TV host Jeelan Bilal-Gore will pick up the pace, featuring nearly triple the show’s usual number of guests. All these people will also be available for you to meet – in person – at TransCultural Exchange’s 2025 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts, from March 7th to the 9th. Entitled Avenues for Daring, this Conference is a rare face-to-face opportunity for artists to connect with our show’s host and guests, along with additional speakers from down the block, across the nation and around the world during talks, workshops, portfolio reviews, roundtable discussions, networking events and more. Everyone is welcome! However, if you can’t make it, as always, we’ve listed our guests’ websites below for you to further research on your own. Tonight, Jeelan begins by talking with some of the Conference speakers who run artists-in-residency programs. As many artists have discovered, attending a residency not only provided them with the time, means and inspiration to do their work, but it literally changed their lives.
