Antiviral Plant, Hope
Emily Wisniewski • Italy

ANTIVIRAL PLANT, HOPE is part of the Medicinal Plant series – a response Emily Wisniewski made to the Covid-19 outbreak in Italy – focusing on plants tested in medicinal research against Coronavirus. (In this painted landscape, snowdrop flowers bloom as the first sign of Spring, symbolizing hope.)

Emily Wisniewski is an Italian artist, working in painting with oils to tell stories of the sublime moments in nature that intermingle with our traumatic connection and disconnection with one another.
