Pirjo Heino

"I prefer lino and wood block printing. My works are representations of
life in a form of capricious garden. I use the fragments of nature as
signs and symbols in my modern art works. Beside the visual art and
exhibitions I am interested in literature, music, ikebana and hiking."

Pirjo Heino is the founder and manager of the Art Gallery Ripustus since
1993, a member of the Artists Association of Hämeenlinna Finland, European
Cultural Association (Finland), Xylon and Finoart XXI , and vice president
of the European Artists Association. Her works have been shown in numerous
group and solo shows throughout Finland and the world.
