At the end of the twentieth century one form of Matisse's "Woman with a Green Stripe" exists on the internet at the webMuseum. I measured the hexadecimal equivalents of the major colors in the digital version, then copied the digital version back into paint. The quilt on the left diagrams the hexadecimal (computer language) values.
