Terry Jenoure silk, linen, lace, thread, paint beads Terry Jenoure is an interdisciplinary artist: violinist, poet, visual artist, and educator. Her longstanding focus on improvisation and exploration of African Caribbean women’s sensibilities finds its way into all facets of her expressions. In her bracelet, she covers silk with linen and lace fabric, adding paint and glass beads. She then wraps and twists them tightly with cotton thread in a way much like how her mother once groomed her hair as a child. |
