Ginny and I had a great party after we took
down the show at the Cultural Center in the loop. Our exhibit was
there at the same time as the Art Expo at Navy Pier so alot more people
were in the city for that. Our party and distribution was at a wonderful
restaurant called The Wishbone and the owners liked the show so much
they wanted to hang it indefinitely. But we convinced them otherwise.
We gave them first choice and they picked Alice and Wonderland and
the calligraphy from Japan. (I thought you artists would like to know).
Then each person got to pick their favorite. Everyone was quite pleased
with their acquisition as these photos indicate.
Ginny and I were kind of sad that it was all
over.
We already have some ideas about the next show.
Thanks to all artists for their contribution to a very exciting idea.
