About the tiles:
“Dalwa/Two Points” displays traces of burnt straw with a clay
serving as a ground for the implanted metal spirals that suggest
escalating possibilities of exchange between two minds now broadening the
virtual conversation across national borders to include other artists
participating in The Tile Project. Thus, the two points in each tile in
the series signal the trafficking, traversing of distance, and presaging
of future exchanges boding heightened insight and eventual unearthing.
