Karola Teschler has exhibited in many collective and solo exhibitions around
the world. She is the founder and President of the International European
Artists Association, and the organizer and leader of a number of international
symposiums for artists. Her large-scale paintings are executed in a reductivst
style, painted with pure colors, and typically depict commonplace situations.
About the tiles, “Mariendom”:
The pilgrim church of “Mary, Queen of Peace,” built in 1968
in the old county of Berg, is
admired by Christians and non-believers alike--not least of all architects.
Visible from afar, it
looms above the rooftops of Neviges like a monumental Expressionist sculpture.
architectural Professor Gottfried Bohm notes that the church “mirrors
landscape of the Berg Lands.”
