Here There and Everywhere: Anticipating the Art for the Future
Place: Part III   Global

Ann McDonald • USA
Sarrena Sernsukskul •Thailand

For their collaboration, the artists write, “addingPOSITIVITY is a global framework that is fueled by the dynamics of many diverse individuals with the overall intent of adding positivity to the world. “Bite size questions that change within a set pattern are digitally distributed through the project website and a widget (a downloadable desktop application). Each question asks…[about] the details of life that are often taken for granted. “Questions and answers collected virtually will be displayed in a dynamic web interface and through a temporal installation…Exhibit participants will be able to add their responses to the questions and also will be encouraged to pose future questions. The evolution of the installation will be recorded and uploaded to the project website. “We want to encourage giving, receiving and a sense of a global connectedness through both a virtual and physical visualization of simple, tangible responses and questions.”
