Paradise Ready Made was a participatory artwork that spread out across the city of Kaliningrad like a landscape.
The project moved away from the artist-crafted object to bridge art with the lives of ordinary people.
The people of Kaliningrad, Bell writes, were invited to take home a plant to nurture it to bloom. Participants also received instructions
(in the form of a pictogram) asking them to share an image and/or description (via a web site) of where they located their new plant. . .

May 2009 Tower Kronprinz: Second Advent
The international competition Tower Kronprinz: Second Advent focuses on the involvement of the city dwellers and professional community in the process of restoring and reconstructing the future residence of Kaliningrad's National Centre for Contemporary Art. Tower Kronprinz is a historical and cultural monument dating from the middle 19th century. In 2003 NCCA obtained the rights to use a part of these defense barracks to create a museum, exhibition, research and information complex, focusing on the culture of Kaliningrad.
